Tiverton TP - Manager – Permanent – 40 hours per week (Inc. weekends) – Competitive salary

We are looking to recruit a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Manager to help lead the team in our Tiverton store. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the effective running of the store.

Key responsibilities:

To provide expert product knowledge and advice to customers to drive sales, proactively seeking new revenue streams such as club sports and events, ensure effective stock control and communication with buying team, staff management, ensure you and your team consistently deliver excellent standards of customer service, ensure you remain professional when dealing with customer complaints and/or queries and are aware of you responsibilities as Company Ambassadors.

To train and develop all staff members and actively coach all staff through regular performance reviews and training. Responsible for the recruitment and induction of all new staff members in accordance with the Company guidelines. Ensure that all aspects of the store’s operations are carried out according to the Company’s guidelines and manuals using the tools available. These include: Health & Safety, administration, maintenance, security, banking, stocktaking and housekeeping.

You will need around 2 years retail management experience in a similar environment, as well as knowledge Tony Pryce Retail, our heritage and history. You will also possess a keen eye for detail and have a passion for sport and current trends.
